In the scene where the children rush out of school to play with the hula-hoops invented by Hudsucker Industries, the name of the school is visible above the door. It is "Cedar Manor", which is the name of the St. Louis Park, Minnesota elementary school attended by Joel and Ethan Coen, the film's producers/directors.
