Hitchcock was known to appear in most of his films in a cameo. As a matter of fact, when I watch a Hitchcock film I always watch for him. Stephen King often does the same thing, a tribute to Hitchcock maybe?

Took a class at Rutgers University in Newark on Hitchcock's films. I am almost certain he makes a cameo in every movie. I watched 19 of them, and there was a cameo in all 19 I watched.

He did a cameo most of his films, including Lifeboat, which took place entirely on a boat, so how could he make a cameo? A bit of newspaper was in the boat and it had a weight loss ad. Alfred Hitchcock was the "before and after" guy. Very clever, that.
