Courage The Cowardly Dog Easter Egg - Dilworths

In the "Katz Motel" episode of Courage The Cowardly Dog there are many times you'll see many times the creator of the show (or he may be the producer) name. When Houstus and Merail(spelling)
check into the motel you'll see John Dilworth on the top of the guest book. Also when Courage is tied up outside to the post and a spider is charge toward him Courage pulls out a chainsaw to break the cord which holds him to the post. The brand of chainsaw is "Dil" instead of "Skil". Theres lots of other times you see things like this but these were the only ones I hyave caught.

There are Dilworths in almost every short. Either his name or his image. John Dilworth is either the guy is an egomaniac or he wants to see how many people notice. As for the duck, the first Courage short was titled "The Duck from Outer Space" or something like that.

I haven't noticed the Dil's anywhere yet... but I see there is some confusion about Eustace and Muriel's last name... it's Bangs.listen to the intro, it says "abandoned as a young pup, Courage was found my Muriel, who lives in the middle of nowhere with her husband, Eustace Bangs!"

in the burger episode, its on a box in the basement. in the episode with the hotel where courage gets tied up outside, he tries a dil chainsaw to cut the rope and the vacuum says "dilvac." in the katz motel one, its on the guestlist. in one episode, it was on a plug. i've seen one in almost every episode, but these are the only ones that come to me now.

I found some more "dils" in Courage the Cowardly Dog. One is on a truck in the truck where Eustace goes and finds the golden hat. Another is on a poster that says "Dilly Says Don't Smoke" in the Doctor's room when the doctor is checking Murial's hand in the episode The Night of the Weremole. There's one on the box in the episode of the cannibal pigs down in the basement.

Actually, the first episode was titled "The Chicken from Outer Space," hence the sequel "The Revenge of The Chicken from Outer Space." And the evil duck appears in "The Duck Bothers." Because of the similarities between the Duck and the Chicken, I think that there originally was a Duck from outer space, and was later changed to a Chicken.

Remember Doc Gerbil? He spoke with a weird southernish accent, and when he sucked up Eustis and Mariel in his Dil Vac..he told Courage "Yer free now...finally free..." Kinda makes you go "hmmmm" doesn't it?

I think every episode has at least one mention of John Dilworth (besides the TV) in it. In regards to their last name, I'm not sure what's going on with that... On the Anvil Awards show it was Bain. I've seen it on websites being many different things. On the Closed Captioning, it frequently changes from Bang, to Bain, Bagge, Bagg. I always thought their name was Bagge. -Burbble

And that alien in "Car Broke, Phone Yes" wanted Kindness not happiness, as you mentioned. Another one of those "Dilly sez" posters was in the episode about that Velvet Vic record when courage was standing back-stage. Also, on the cutain of cruelty in the super market........
