Seinfeld Easter Egg - Prognosis Negative

In the episode (I forget the title) where they go to see Prognosis Negative, this is a referance to a screenplay Larry David wrote with the same title. I'm sure there have been other referances to his screenplays over the span of the show.

True. Prognosis Negative was an unproduce screenplay written by Larry David. FWIW, there are no other references to David's work other than that one.

Ah, Rochelle, Rochelle. The story of a young girl's strange, erotic journey from Milan to Minsk. As far as I can tell, this was a product of writer Peter Mehlman's deranged imagination. There was never an actual screenplay for this fake movie.

Prognosis Negative is also mentioned in the Junior Mint episode. When Elaine walks in the door after the guy's surgery, she says "prognosis negative". I believe this is also a reference to that screen play.

Prognosis Negative is about a single guy who is unable to commit to a relationship. He finds out an ex-girlfriend has six months to live and decides its perfect...he can commit without worrying about the long term consequences. (From an interview with Terri Gross on NPR)
