X-Men Easter Egg - Stan the Man?

The co-creator of the X-Men himself has a small cameo in the movie, but don't blink or you'll miss him. During the scene when the mutated Senator Kelly walks on the beach, Stan "the Man" Lee is the hot dog vendor!

Seeing as how he is credited in the end credits as this role I doubt this counts as an egg.

This is a BONAFIDE Easter Egg deserving to be here. Just cause something is explained way later doesn't mean it's not supposed to be hidden. Hell, I didn't know until I came here. Good job man, keep it up.

I agree with Hazard Edge... about 3% of the population actually sit and watch the credits to videos and movies.

A lot less than 3% of the population sits around watching credits, this is true. But a much smaller percentage are interested in these eggs. Yet here we are. Credited cameos are not eggs.

This isn't an eegg. If it's given due credit, then it doesn't count. And if the 97%of people who don't watch the credits (I am a part of the 97%) don't like that fact, then that's their own fault for not watching. It's there-you just have to read it. An eegg is HIDDEN.

I'm sure most people have noticed this, but I though the spin Toad does with the staff which, they had been using to keep the elevator doors apart with, was just plain cool. Toad was played by Ray Park, who as we all know was Darth Maul in Episode 1: The phantom menace. Darth Maul wielded a double bladed light saber, and he twirled it much in the same way Toad spins this wooden staff in this scene. Then the way Toad stares at the screen for a few seconds afterward was as if to say "Guess who I was." I loved that the first time I saw X-Men, so I thought I'd mention it.

Stan Lee didn't direct X-MEN. Bryan Singer directed it and David Hayter wrote the screenplay. (Hayter was the voice of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, but we all know that, right?)

sorry to be pedantic about this, but technically, by the rules of this site, if its credited its not an egg. but i figure, if 97% dont watch the credits, then isnt it hidden from 97% of the population? i dint watch the credits. i have no intention of watching the credits. so to me, it is an egg.

This isn't really an egg if it's credited. Just because you guys were to lazy to read the credits dosen't mean that it's hidden. If it's in the credits, it's NOT hidden. The credits are telling you that it's Stan.

I don't care if it isn't a technical easter egg, i think it should be an honorary one, considering he did it in X2, and both the Spiderman movies. It's just a little tidbit that he thought would be fun for all us geeks out here who recognize him in a crowd. : P
