Lois & Clark Easter Egg - Buffalo Inside Joke

In the (OUTSTANDING) show Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, many inside jokes are added. In Season 4 episode 1 titled "Lord of The Flys" Clark and Lois sneak into Smallville to rescue its citizens. In order for none of Lord Nor's men (the enemy)to recoginze the appearance of 2 extra people, they remove 2. One of the men they remove is wearing a Buffalo Bills Cap, which falls off as he leaves. Later Dean can be seen wearing the cap himself to fit in.

This was added as Dean played for the Bills before Lois and Clark.

Actually, he was drafted by the Bills but I don't think Cain actually had the opportunity to play because of his injury.

Dean Cain joined the Buffalo Bills in 1988. He had done very well at Princeton as a safety, setting 2 interception records. He attended a few drills and practices during the summer training camp with the Bills, but his knee started bothering him (an old injury). Three days before the first pre-season game, where Cain was hoping to prove himself, he had knee surgery. The Bills told him he could come back to training camp the following year if no one had signed him up before that, but the knee never healed properly, and Dean Cain went back to Hollywood to (eventually) become Superman.
