Half-Life Easter Egg - A "Closer" Look at G-Man?

Run Half-Life with the console enabled (look around). After the train and your in the facility, look around for the G-Man. Go into the console (~) and type sv_cheats 1 and then save and load the game. Then open the console again and type in Noclip . Then go to the G-Man and go in his briefcase. You may have to walk to position yourself right, but its worth it. Inside is a cool mini-computer (it has his pic - nice hair!) and some pencils. This is REALLY wierd. Maybe something was originally meant to happen where you see inside? A. . .007 goldeneye type thing? MAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe. Or maybe its just those clever d00ds at Sierra again! Nice job, guys! You once again have me wondering. . .

The easy way to do this is to open gman.mdl in a model viewer (chumbalum soft`s is great)and simply look at the skin textures used for the inside. - inside_1.bmp - inside_2.bmp

You should learn to differentiate the publisher from the developer. The d00ds at Sierra didn't code the game. The d00ds at Valve did.

If you want to use this cheat but not go through the trouble of the noclip cheat process you can just start the game with the console enabled, then hit the ~ key and type 'noclip' without the ''. It saves some time as it is easier than waiting the long loading time.

If you look closely there is also a pistol tucked in a pocket in the briefcase, along with the other stuff.

There is a tab at the bottom which says TEXTURES... You click that and then there is a drop-down boxy thingy and look gor inside_1/inside_2. That's all.
