Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - ILM Guards
If you start recognizing some of the faces over and over as Naboo Guards, this may be why. It has been reported that ILM (Industrial Light and Magic, the sound effect company) technical employees actually composited themselves into the shots as Naboo guards. It is common for ILM employees to be "extras" in George Lucas' films. So, many of the ILM employees were elsewhere in the movie, like in the pod racing crowd, as well.

Well, if you really want to get technical, Lucasfilm Ltd. controls many of the divisions. Industrial Light and Magic do the special effects and visuals, while Skywalker Sound does the sounds. makes sense, right?

You are right about the egg, but I just wanted to correct you on something. ILM is not a sound effects company, they do visual effects.
