Sims, The Easter Egg - Cheat Codes (NOT AN EGG)

First you need the command prompt, which is Ctrl+Shift+C.

1.Type klapaucius in the prompt to get 1000 simoleans.
2.Type SET_HOUR ? (? being 0-23)
3.Type ; into the prompt to say the next command is a new command. Type ! into the prompt to repeat last command. So "klapaucius;!;!;!;!;!" will get 6000 simoleans.
4.Type MAP_EDIT ON or MAP_EDIT OFF depending on what you want.
5.Select a sim and type interests in the prompt to show personality/interests.

When you use the Klapaucius code you can add !;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! or any number to get more money...it will say Cheat Not Valid, but if you watch your money will rise anyways!

Just to let you know,you left out a bunch of codes. Oh,and the 1000 simoleon code for The Sims 1.1 version, is "rosebud"(without quotes of course.).

Here's a good cheat. 1. Type "Shift + Ctrl + C" 2. Type in "klapaucius" or "rodebud", whichever thing you have. 3. Type in !;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;"!"..... but replace the exclamtion point in parenthesis with a 1. 4. Press enter It will say "No Such Code" But you still get money for it. Keep doing that until you have a LOT of money! :-)

You can also do the same thing except you don't put in a "!". All you have to do is bring up the cheat menu, and do that 1000 simoleon cheat. Then of course you type in !;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;etc. It dosn't matter how many times you type it in, just as long as you hit the spacebar ONCE after you're done typing. Then just hit enter as many times as you want. Your money will multiply depending on how many times you typed in!;

It would have been a debugging tool for testers and programers that was never taken out. Most developers leave them in so people can play with them when they get bored of the regular play (that and it's easier than commenting the code out after final testing).

klapaucius is for the original, rosebud is for livin' large. Also, a quicker way of doing the !;!;!; thing is to do a few, select them, hold "Ctrl + C", then just keep pressing "Ctrl + V" to do loads. Then, when you've done as many as will fit on the line, select that, press Ctrl + C, press enter to enter that cheat. When you want to do the cheat again, just press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + C to bring up the cheat screen, and then Ctrl + V to get about $40,000

Now if you want to get A LOT of money keep reading. Use the Klapaucius or rosebud cheat(depending on which game you have).Then put in the cheat !;!;!;!; and then put a space after the last ;. Hit enter repetitivelt and you will keep getting money. Keep hitting enter until you get $9,999,999 then hit enter a few more times and you have an infanite amount of money. This is a sweet cheat.

I can't seem to get infinite money.....can anyone help me? I followed all the directions...and every time it goes to 9,999,999. But then I purchase a tile of floor that's like $4,999,999 and it goes down. What's wrong?

Well if not , you know the tragic clown picture you can buy it's him but he comes to life and is really hard to get rid of and wakes you up in your sleep! so either take down your tragic clown picture or when he's blown up his balloon click on him and select pop and the balloon and him will pop!and never come back (hopefully)

As for the money codes, Klapacious is for the Sims, and rosebud is for livin large. Instead of spending time typing in "!;!;!;!". Just type ":;",without quotes, directly after the word rosebud, or klapacious, then keep pressing enter. The screen will say "no such cheat" but watch your money pile up to 100 million simoleans. As for the tragic clown, he only shows up when your Sim is depressed. That means you're not doing a very good job of maintaining them. Another good code to type in that grey box is "move_objects on" With this you can pick up absolutely everything! Including objects that are out of bounds, are in use, and you can pick up the actual Sims. (use it to delete trash, bills, people, roaches, etc.)

Rosebud works on any version that came out the second year (v 1.1) as well as the expansion packs. set_time, dig_up_her_bones, and klapacius? only work on the original, unpatched version to my knowledge. They didn't work on my version of the Sims at least. The water cheat did work though.

ok first you have to open up the cheat box, do so by holding ctrl, shift, Alt, C, it will open a box, you have to do this even time you want to enter a code. code #1 Money, type in rosebud into the box then hit enter, bring the box up again, and type in !;!;!;!; as many times as you can each time you type !; you get 1,000 sim dollars, code #2 water, bring up the box, and type in water_tool like that, then your cursor becomes a water tool, and you are able to create ponds, and streams, code #3 map, bring up the box, and type in map_edit on/off the tiles all become white except the ones that you own, click on the white ones in order to be able to build on them, NOTE, it you buy the street then fill it up with house no cars or busses, or people can come and visit your family. code #4 move bring up the box, then type in move_objects on/off and you can move your people, and thnings like the garbage can, and mail box, note, if u move the mail box into the house or near the door, then destroy the house the box will be gone and no one can visit your family,

The one I find handy is move_objects on it allows you to delete trash, spills, nasty neighbours. Can cause instability in the game. Word of advice. Avoid deleting you own sims as it tends to crash more if you do. However if you do and then click on their face they will reappear totally refreshed! To make the game safe again, use move_objects off You can even delete the post box.

Be careful when using the set_time cheat, and the notice for your car pool has appeared. If you use it after it has appeared (it may happen before this, i'm not sure) then the car won't arrive and you'll miss work/school. And if you do this twice in a row... Hey, I never liked my boss anyway.

auto_level- Architecture tools automatically set the level as needed Control- When water tool is on, to erase the water interests- Displays personality and interests (not a cheat, but cool anyway) If you type in "xyzzy" It says nothing happens here, which is taken from an old text only game called Adventure. draw_routes on/off- shows where a SIm is going. It also helps see what is blocking their path, if anything is. autonomy [1-100]- Set free thinking level grow_grass [0-150]- Sets how fast the grass grows. set_hour [1-24]- Set time of day (not available in the expansion packs) Also, rather than taking out your trash, you can go to buy mode, delete the trash can and buy a new one. The price is always the same for a garbage can, so its a lot easier.

The fastest way I've found to get money is to bring up the cheat box and type "rosebud ; ;" without the quotes but with the spaces between the semicolons. Then just hold the enter key and watch your money soar. When you have as much as you want, backspace until it just says rosebud, and hit enter again.

I have a nifty cheat for Livin' Large. I think it might work for The Original Sims too. Type in "move_objects on" (no quotation marks) and pick up one of your sims. Then DELETE him/her. It's icon should have a little red circle-cross thing in the lower left-had corner. Double click on it and your sim will have all of it's needs filled and be really happy!

The "house #" cheat is for loading houses when you're at the neighborhood screen. You type in "house 1" for example, and it loads what ever house is at 1 Sim Lane in the neighborhood you're in. This is a pretty pointless cheat and it only works if you have Livin' Large.

This is just to say that when you use 'move_objects on' and then delete one of your Sims and they come back with all their needs fulfilled, if you save the game beforehand, their job/skills etc. will all still be there after you have deleted them and they have come back!

You can also stick something in your enter key, and go eat dinner and when you get back, you should have 999,999 moneys, then if you have to pay for something you you will have the same amount! If you go and click the evict button and click on that house it will tell you, that you have more than 999,999 moneys!! I just thought that was neat!

Correction, there are only two ways to get rid of the tragic clown. The first is the hardest, and that is to get the family's mood level above 25, which usually takes a while because the people arent cooperative. And seond, which is more interesting, is to put a fireplace in the house, if you dont have one already, and place the clown picture above it. That way it will set fire, when this happens keep directing your Sim's away, you dont want them to burn. Eventually, when it does set fire, so will the clown, and you can watch the poor bastard burn. Of course, you could just make it easier on yourself and dont buy the clown picture in the first place as he only shows up to houses with the painting, and mood levels below -25.

You don't really have to type in the cheat again, you can just open the cheat box and type the "ctrl" and "Z" keys at the same time and the cheat that you just typed up will appear. If you keep clicking "ctrl" and "Z" then it will go back to the very first cheat you did when you opened the game.

Jst for the record, there is no such thing as infinite money. The counter only goes so far and any money earned after that are still placed in. Therefore you may have more money than the counter shows and that's why you appear to have infinite money.

If your type in Move_Objects on in the Cheat box and delete your sims, they will get full everything within seconds. Make sure you save before you delete them otherwise your Sim will lose all the Body,Logic,Creativity,Etc, Points they have gained since the last time you saved.

well is you bring up the cheat box and type "daddy be bad" it will put the green light over his head then after that has happened bring up the box and type "the killer is coming" the enter then write "kill_tool" then the father of the family will go to the kitchen and brandish a large knife and all you have to do is right click on the person you want him to kill( cool cheat bye the way!!!!) To have a nude sim: Let sim get in the shower and then go to biuld mode and type in Ctrl+Shift+C and then you will see a box appear in the top left hand corner of your screen then click in the box and then you type in move_objects on. Then you click on the shower with the little hand and then you can move it. Then you can see that the sim will be nude. To get mad mad money: Type in rosebud ; ; and keep enter held down and then you will see the box that says no such cheat ignore and then just keep the enter key held down until you are satisfied with how much money you have. To move an object: Go to build mode and then type Ctrl+Shift+C and then type in move_objects then you can move any object that you want to even the cars and neighbors.

I have had The Sims for a very long time now, and I recently loaded up The Sims Hot Date Expansion Pack (well recently being a bunch of months ago) and every time I try and play, it shuts off. Only when I do certain things though. For example: when I try to create a new family, or move them in, or change clothes(go a certain number of clothes in one direction, you people know what I am talking about) and it is driving me nuts! Does anyone know what is wrong with my computer?

To maltman: Does that cheat work on all versions of Sims? Because I have 1.1 and no expansion packs and it wouldn't work for me. Is that exactly what to do? Please be more specific.

Hello.I have a very good way of making tons of cash in no time!! First Ctrl + Shift + C to get the cheat box up. Then type in ''klapaucius'' (if that doesn't work , its ''rosebud''). Press Enter , and you should be 1000 simoleons richer. Then , bring the cheat box up again , and this time type in : '' !;!;!;!;!;!; '' intil you can't do anymore. When you cant do any more DON'T press Enter. Instead , highlight the whole with your cursor (the arror). When its all highlighted , press Ctrl + C. Press Enter. Bring up the cheat box again , and press Ctrl + V. The cheat box should be full with '' !;!;!;!;!; '' instantly!! Do this as many times as you want and you will be VERY rich !!
