Northern Exposure Easter Egg - Is It Time?

In the Northern Exposure episode titled: "A Kodiak Moment" Dr. Fleischman and Maggie O'Connel are teaching a birthing class to a group of expectant mothers. Maggie is doing the teaching while Dr. Fleischman is busy reading a magazine.

When one of the women goes into labor she shouts out, "It's Time!"
But Dr. Fleischman who's only paying attention to his magazine replies, "No, it's Newsweek."

It's an inside joke for the crew of the show. At the time reviews about the show appeared in both Time and Newsweek. The Time review had not been favorable but the Newsweek review was good.
