Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - It Walks Like a Duck, Quacks Like a Duck - It's Howard the Duck!
The Pod Racer crowd: Howard the Duck is there. I kid you not. And no, Boba Fett is not there, but there is a guy using a facepaint curiously similar to the Mandalore Leader from Tales of the Jedi comic book (the Lord Exar Kun saga).

Could you be a little more specific? The crowd is huge and there are so many shots of it. Where and when are you able to see Howard???

Howard the duck is a character from a brilliant movie called (you guessed it) "Howard The Duck".

YES!!! I seen Howard, there are two shots that you can see him in. One is on the second lap of the race when the announcer states that "Skywalker is spinning out of control." He is 4 rows up one in from the right. Looks like he's wearing some kind of hat or something. The second is after Anakin wins the announcer states that "the crowd is going nuts," and now he's staring into the camera. Yep this one is real.

Most of the far away shots of the crowd are made using miniature stands filled with painted Qtips. It was in the "making of" book. They look pretty realistic... Who is "Howard the Duck"?

I've missed Howard every time I've seen the scene. And the Q-Tips were replaced with digital extras. George didn't like the final look, which does look very good, and went with the CG extras instead.

You liars. There is no Howard the Duck. There is no Indiana Jones. You're all liars! I would like to see proof from you. I looked on that DVD, zoomed in on that crowd and there is no Howard.

No, Howard the Duck was NOT one of the top 100 worst movies of all time... it was one of MSN's "Top 10 worst movies of all time." I believe it was #3, I'm not sure though. "The Adventures of Pluto Nash" got #1 even though it had been released just weeks before.
