Sims, The - Extra Skins from the .Far Files in the Sims

after you pick up the Far viewer from simzonline.com run it and open up the file options it will give you.... you will find a lot of .bmp files that are stored in the .far files the sims have. you can save these files as .bmp then move them to the skins folder and rename it to one of the settings for the sims program to read. if you dont know the "special" name you have to name a .bmp to open up as a skin look at one of the others till you get the idea. its really simple to see how the name for the .bmp should look. this is how you get some of the skins used in the sims but you cant access... one of the most "weird" ones found built in to one of the .far was a "Super Sim" skin... its a guy in what looks to be a "super hero" suit thats purple and green.. another one to note is a skin that looks like the x-ray of a humans body..

EnIgMaDeadsouls writes:: well.. no its not. its A LOT different that the one of getting skins of the few extra skins off the disk. this opens and makes it to where you can use ANY skin thats in the game you cant normally access. like the gardener skin and such. like you know when you have a job and you switch in to your "work skin" you wear it to work and when you come home if you sleep... shower or such you put back your original skin on. with this you have access to the games skins it self so if you like the look of the doc. skin and wish your sim could always wear it now he/she can. email me if you would like a much better ex.; 16 of 19 people found this comment helpful. (thats also because for each suit theres slim, built, big and this in 3 different skin tones.) also with the far view you get some other unique things to look at. like what is really on the newspaper and then why the pic in the lower-left on the newspaper looks like a nude womans profile. EnIgMaDeadsouls writes:: Seeing as its hard to find .far view and the simzonline.com website is gone. you can try this with with SimHound from http://mysite.mweb.co.za/residents/loumyn/presellsh.htm .. it has a .far editor. saddly it cost $14. However it should list the .far files for you automagicly and thus makes it easy to copy from and to .far file.
