Don't Cry (Gun N' Roses) Easter Egg - Don't Cry (Guns N' Roses)

In the Guns N' Roses video, there is a brief shot of a sign which reads Where's Izzy? This was a joke referring to the band's rhythym guitarist Izzy Stradlin, who didn't like make videos. He didn't show up for the Don't Cry shoot and shortly afterwards he quit the band.

also worth a mention, this was the first gnr song written, by axl and izzy in about 5 minutes, after axl broke up with a girl they'd both dated. they decided to save the song till they had more money to produce it properly, rather than include it on appetite axl put the sign on duff's guitar, but i'm pretty sure izzy hadn't officially left at that point

On a similar note, during the "Live & Let Die" video, amongst the images that pan across the concert footage is a milk carton with a mock "missing persons" notice on it - containing a photo of Izzy!
