Simpsons, The Easter Egg - Vegie Soup!

You know the episode where Lisa becomes vegetarian? Well, she goes to Apu's and they go to the secret place upstairs and talk to Apu. Paul McCartney is there, and he says that if you play "Maybe I'm Amazed" backwards you'll hear a recipe for a "real ripen soup!" Of course in the real song, this is not true but, at the end of the show when the credits roll, a new "Maybe I'm Amazed" plays, and in between lyrics, Apu is talking backwards. I have not really reversed it, but I'm sure its a recipe for soup!

I have reversed it on my 4-track (you could also do it with the Audio Editor that came with Win 95) and it is NOT apu. It is Paul McArtney reading a recipe for soup.

Another thing about that egg: After reading the recipe, you can hear Paul say "Oh, and by the way, I'm alive."

I believe the recipe is: - one medium onion, chopped - two tablespoons of vegetable oil - one clove of garlic, crushed - one cup of carrots, chopped - two sticks of celery, chopped - half a cup of lentils - one bay leaf - one tablespoon of freshly-chopped parsely - salt and freshly-ground pepper to taste - two and a quarter cups of vegetable stock or water
