Good Will Hunting Easter Egg - By the Book

When Matt Damon co-wrote "Good Will Hunting" (he plays the title character) he mentions the book "A People's History Of The United States: 1492-i992" by Howard Zinn. He has his character Will praise it. Actually, Zinn lived on the same street in Newton, Ma. as Damon's family, and Zinn said Damon was "paying me back for all the cookies I gave him when he was a kid." The book's sales skyrocketed after the movie.

In the scene where Will and Skylar are eating at an out door cafe, you can see Matt Damon's father sitting in the background.
