Backdraft - The Real Donald Rimgale

Donald Rimgale aka Shadow, the character played by Robert DeNiro, was a real fire inspector for the Chicago Fire Department. He had a bit part in the movie and was a technical advisor for the film. Note in the closing credits that he appears both in the cast list and in the special thanks list.
