I Love Lucy Easter Egg - Breaking Eggs

In one of the episodes in which Lucy raises chickens, her chickens aren't laying any eggs, so she and Ethel go out and buy some to put under the chickens so Ricky won't notice,I forget what happens, but then Ricky comes in the house and Lucy needs to hide the eggs so she stuffs them down her shirt. Ricky then asks Lucy to help him practice a dance,in the middle of their dance he pulls her toward him and the eggs break in her shirt when their stomachs hit. Now, the egg in this is that this was the first time that Lucille Ball used raw eggs, during the rehearsals she used only boiled eggs, she did this in order to get her reaction genuine. It is also a fact that after this happened, it was the longest ever laugh from a studio audience, recorded at 65 seconds, that same laugh track is still used on TV shows today.

The 65-second laugh was actually much longer, to the tune of about two minutes, but they cut it down so it would fit on film.

actually it was the longest recorded audience laugh in the history of the show itself. The longest recorded audience laugh in TV history was on the Carroll Burnett show, skit: Gone with the Wind
