There's Something About Mary Easter Egg - Providence College

If you notice that every movie that The Far rely Brothers produce, the actors are wearing Providence College shirts?? Most of their references There is even a scene in Dumb and Dumber (Farrely brothers movie) where both main characters are driving in their dog cleaning car, and the camera pans out and shows a HUGE METAL BUG on the side of the highway.... well, that huge bug is located about 5 minutes from the PC campus...... the reason for all these PC references?? The far rely brothers went to Providence College.

Actually, they don't all have Providence college references. Its just refrences of Rhode Island. Such as Me, Myself, and Irene had the reference of being a Rhode Island State trooper, living in Rhode Island in Dumb and Dumber. The movie Shallow Hal didn't have a direct reference I believe, however they had the premiere in Rhode Island.

Actually Drew, there is a RI reference in Shallow Hal. When Hal and his neighbor Jill go to dinner, and Hal runs into Rosemary but doesn't recognize her, the restaurant they are in is called The Capital Grill (They show the outside of the restaurant quickly in the scene). The Capital Grill is actually the most well-known and popular restaurant in Providence. It overlooks the Providence River and is a big place for anniversaries and such. It's a small reference, and only Providence (or RI) people like myself probably picked it up.
