Antichrist Superstar (Marilyn Manson) - Back to the Future?
Look at the writing after the lyrics of Irresponsible Hate Anthem, it says recorded live on Feburary 14, 1997. The album was released in 1996, and it's copyrighted for 1996 as quoted on the CD.
I doubt it was a typo, u know Manson :)

irresponsible hate anthem is a studio track. the date feb. 14, 1997 is relevant only to the storyline of the Holy Wood novel soon to be released. antichrist superstar is arranged like a story. irresponsible hate anthem starts off with a crowd because in the story, the overman character is a huge rock star playing a show on feb. 14, 1997....then as the beautiful people comes in, it flashes back to the main character as a child. things catch up again in the third cycle on the album. now as for zim zum....zim zum did not record on A.C. but, he did join the band before the cd's release, which gave them time to print his name in there under "live guitarist", which means he will be on tour with them (most guitar tracks on A.C. were layed down by twiggy). if you read the liner notes in mechanical animals it says that John 5 is the live guitarist because zim zum left before recording was finished, and john 5 joined right in time for the album release and tour.....and in holy wood, he is credited as the main guitar player. its all very simple folks.

Both "Irresponsible Hate Anthem" of Antichist Superstar and "Born Again" of Holy Wood claim to be recorded on February 14th 1997.The likeliest explanation for this is that this date will play an important part in the Holy Wood book. Also read carefully the lyrics to Holy Wood's "Valentines Day"(you do know Feb. 14th is Val. day don't you?)and it details an important event in the Holy Wood concept.

As I recall in 1996 when this album first came out. Guitar player Twiggy Ramirez claimed that he found a way to travel forth in time and recoreded this. I do find this stupid but I remember reading it.

Back during the AntiChrist days when I did the join the fanclub-thing, part of the deal was to become 'adopted' into the MMFamily. The date on the red certificate of adoption states as of 14th day of February nineteen-hundred-and-ninety-seven.

He just put that there to make people ask the very question you have. It's not even really a live song, just had the crowd chant, "we hate love, we love hate", (which is chanted at every Manson show I've ever been to),thrown in there to mock a live concert....That's all....

Sorry Infinity, but Irresonsible Hate Anthem is a studio creation. Listen to the crowd at the beginning. Someone whistles at one point, and that exact whistle is repeated throughout that section of the song.

Actually, this song is the most likely to have been live of the whole disc. It was the first of the songs written, and I know for a fact that it was played live at concerts with POAAF and SMC material; I've had bootlegs listing it as 'Untitled' in those concerts.

Just one more thing: The cd credits claim that Zim Zum was the live guitarist for this song. I find it funny that zim zum did NOT record with manson on that album. ZimZum wasn't even a member of the band by then. How did they know that he was going to play the guitar?. Obviously "ZimZum" is not a name, so he must have been hired under that name (just because of this egg). He didn't record with them on the next album.

February 14th is "valentine's day" or "el dia del amor y la amistad" (the day of friendship and love)... does "Irresponsible HATE Anthem" ring a bell?

isn't february 14 valentines day? check this: the album was probably made sometime AFTER valentines day of 96, so they made it for next year, also there is another song on holy wood that claims to be made in 97 as well
