Batman (1989) - Creator's Note
In the beginning of the movie, when Alexander Knox is walking through his office, getting heckled by his colleagues, an artist hands him a drawing of a "bat-man," who wears a suit but has a bat head. The signature at the bottom of the picture is Bob Kane, the creater of the Batman characters! Neat.

Jonny Quest writes:
The cartoonist was originally supposed to be played by Bob Kane. The shooting of the scene was delayed in order to finish all of Jack Nicholson's scenes. By the time the scene was shot, Kane had already flown back to the U.S., and didn't want to fly back to Pinewood Studios in England in the middle of winter just to shoot a quick cameo.

And the end credits confirms he's actually "Bob the cartoonist" played by Dennis Lill.

Bolverk writes:
The late Bob Kane was originally supposed to appear as the cartoonist, but there was some sort of scheduling conflict during filming. Kane referred to this in his autobiography, "Batman and Me." He did draw the picture, though...the artwork is clearly his, and the signature is his trademark signature that appeared in virtually every Batman comic published from 1939 to 1964 (whether he had actually drawn the story in the comic or not!) Kane also claimed to have worked as a technical advisor on the first two "Batman" films.
