Shaft (2000) Easter Egg - Director's Appearance

The director of the movie, John Singleton, shows up in the jail sequence after the fight scene. He is the officer sitting outside the jail cell who doesn't do anything to stop the fight.
John Singleton shows up in all his movies. In Boys N the Hood he was a Mail Man. In Baby Boy he was the guy trying to sell movies on the street. He was a good friend of mine in grade school and Jr. High. I am very proud that he's doing movies and I can at least say I knew the guy way back when.
