Speed II Easter Egg - Harbour-Less City

The speedboat is nearing a large oiltanker ship at some point. Check out the name of that big oiltanker; it is the "Eindhoven". Those ships usually have the name of their home port or city. "Eindhoven" is the hometown in the Netherlands (Europe) of Jan de Bont , who is the director of Speed and Speed II. Eindhoven has no port or harbour as it is inlands, so it is impossible for that tanker to come from there.

The name of the ship doesn't really have anything to do where the ship came from. HMS Black Bounty and what about the Cruise Ship Seabjorn Legend? Those are just two of hundreds of ships whose names have nothing to do with it. The name of a ship comes from many different things.
