Red Alert Easter Egg - Cryptic Messages Hidden by Psx Manual Designers

This is a good easter egg I think because it was very hidden and obviously intentional, and I was surprised when I discoverd it. It was also a little time consuming to decode.

The first step is to open up the case and extract the manual. Bad luck to all those who bought a pirated game. It serves you right.

Have a little look-see at the seemingly-random dot-dash code at the bottom of most of the pages. This is Morse Code, now officially obsolete.

The segments in brackets are written as bold dots and dashes in the manual and their meaning is yet to be discovered!

I am fairly sure the relevance lies in the alternate game play based around the ants missions in some versions.
