Invader ZIM Easter Egg - Jhonen Dies in Show
In the episode "The Wettening" Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of the show, is shown choking on a goldfish and keeling over. The episode was written by Jhonen's good friend, Roman Dirge, so he obviously wanted to have a little fun with him. Jhonen is sitting on his couch reading a Happy Noodle Boy Comic (written by the main character of one of Jhonen's comics, JTHM) when the Earth starts to tremble and a goldfish flies into Jhonen's glass. He then drinks the glass, chokes on the fish, and falls over dead.

For the last time, children, ROMAN DIRGE IS NOT A CHICK!!!! HE is one of Jhonen's close friends and fellow comic artist. Listen to the commentary on IZ volumes two or three. How the heck people could mistake him for a girl I will never know. By the way, there is NOTHING IN THE JTHM TRADE PAPERBACK ABOUT ROMAN!!!!!!!!! I just looked through the entire thing, and guess what? NO MENTION WHATSOEVER OF ROMAN!!! Check Squee! to see a drawing HE did of Squee, and read his comics,Lenore. He draws several pictures of himself in the comics- and he's CLEARLY not a chick.

I don't see how it matters, but yes he is a dude. Yes, girls do write comics, saying that he is a male dosen't disprove that. What is it to fight about?

roman dirge is a girl, if you read the jthm trade paperback(directors cut), you will see somewhere that she was his highschool romantic, something like that
