Doom 3 Easter Egg - Reference to Quake Con and Turkey Puncher!

At the beginning of the game when the guy hands you your PDA, there is a television behind and above with the news on it. One the news ticker there is a reference to Quake Con.

Also in the lounge room there is a game called Turkey Puncher 4 it is made using a screen shot of the original DOOM. you punch the turkey and the doom head smiles. It's funny!

Actually, from what I can tell, the background is from the room in which you start on the final level of Doom 2. I stand to be corrected, but that's what it looks like to me.
