Paint Easter Egg - 10x Zoom

If you click on the bottom line of the zooming box (right below 8x) you can get a 10x Zoom. (The biggest normally is 8x). I actually find this rather useful sometimes. I've never seen it in the documentation about Paint though so this must be a hidden feature.

Yes, very odd. By looking at the menus, I see under "View" >> "Zoom" >> "Large Size" does the same thing. This might be a hidden feature, after 8X zoom, you go to "Large Size" in the "Zoom" tool on the left side. Good eye.

You can also press Ctrl+Page Down to zoom in as much as Paint will allow. It's a useful trick, especially if you're a perfectionist ;)

You do have to mess around a little bit on my computer, but it works. I use XP Professional, with SP2 and everything, in case anybody's wondering.

I dont know if this helps but on some computers if you click on say the spray button and hold it down while pressing the plus button (the + button) , the spray area gets bigger.

Awesome!! I never knew that! How did you figure that out!? Boy some people do crazy stuff to find eggs. "I think I'll click below the 8 just to see what happens." Uhhhhhh.... I'm not insulting you or anything, though.

mzhao, I hate to burst your bubble, but "Large Size" goes to 4x zoom in Windows 95, 98SE, 2000, XP Pro SP2, and probably others. ;D

Yeah this works for me. Also, if you're at 6x, 8x, or 10x zoom, you can hit ctrl + g and it will bring up a grid, useful for pixel art, etc.

Just for those who don't know, this only works with MS Paint 5.0, from Windows XP, it won't work with 6.0, witch is on Vista.
