Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith Easter Egg - Death Star Trench?

In the sunset scene in which Anakin looks out to Padmes apartment and Padme gazes over to the jedi temple, in a couple of shots you can see behind Anakin an area of the Coruscant surface which looks almost identical to the death star trench from A New Hope.

If you were really paying attention, you would notice in all of the shots of Coroscount (Don't know the spelling), the surface looks very similar to the Death Star's surface. My guess is that Lucas was wanting to link two together to make more of a connection between the Prequel and Original Trilogies. Up until know the P.T has looked very sleek, while the O.T looked very rough and rugged.

If you listen to the commentary, when they are in the chase scene with the shapechanger in episode two, Rick McCallum states that they reused video clips for the backgrounds throughout the movie.
