Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace Easter Egg - Quinlan Vos

If you pay attention, you can spot a Jedi by the name of Quinlan Vos eating near where Sebulba was eating before Jar Jar's antics got him in trouble. Just before Anakin comes into the frame for the first time in the scene, you can see Quinlan's face. You might want to play it in slow motion here, as he's quickly covered by Anakin. Quinlan Vos is the man with the yellow stripe going horizontally acrossed his nose.

I don't think this is really an Egg. Tatooine is a refuge for all those who don't wish to be found in the galaxy, and it attracts all kinds of species from all different worlds. I seriously doubt that this person is the only one of his species and i doubt others of his species are barred from the planet, so I must say that it is more likely that this is just another person of his same species.

I'm a devoted Star Wars fan. One could even call me a Jedi Master of Staw Wars knowledge, so please listen when I speak on this subject! That is indeed Quinlan Vos in the back area. Another stroke of Genius from Master Lucas. What makes it so great is the fact that Obie Wan tells Annekin that Vos was killed in Revenge of the Sith.

As it turns out, Quinlan Vos was based off of the character in this scene. The writers who created him picked this scene to base his whole character off of. So it's not that Vos had an identity before this scene and that he was hidden in it, Vos was actually created from this scene.
