I think it should be fairly obvious to everyone who the real pothead is here.

Actually, If you guys watch the dvd, pause it, and zoom on the wall paper (there's a good shot of the paper when child Bruce is looking out his window just after losing his parents), it does look like a square diamond with a pot leaf design on the top and sides of the square, whether it's intentional or not, it does look that way. As for the license plate, i haven't looked, but if the plate does say 420, then that's a tad Conspicuous, don't you think? that doesn't mean they're all potheads, but possibly there's an inside joke. never underestimate a good inside joke, kids.

I couldn't zoom into the car license but having 420 could just be coincidence. The wallpaper does seem like a pot leaf. It is the colour green and has 5 points. Even if these two references were on purpose why didn't they add something when he was older? Then you could truly stated that Batman is a pothead. I guess we will have to wait for the sequel.

I think that if the writers wanted to make Bruce Wayne a pothead, perhaps they would have included a scene with him smoking pot. he did have periods of life in that movie where he was finding himself. Hell, he was going to murder a guy, smoking some weed wouldn't have been out of the writers ability to add in there. Just a thought. Its a longshot possibility that the two supposed references are intentional, but even if they are intentional, it doesn't have anything to do with batman/bruce wayne. I don't think they are though, I would think the person who designs the sets wouldn't exactly collude with the props department for the license plate on the car. This is just coincidence

it looks like a pot leaf when you look closely. but i'm sitting far away from the screen and it sort of resembles that "rare blue flower" which the film mentions/shows many times...at least thats the first thing i thought...
