Twister Easter Egg - Reminders of Wizard of Oz

Some things in Twister that hark back to the Wizard of Oz:

1. In the first part of the movie when Jo is a little girl, the family gets ready to run to the tornado shelter. Their dog is a Cairn Terrier named Toby -- just like Toto, Dorothy's dog, also a Cairn Terrier.

2. In the scene (after the tornado hits the drive-in movie theater) where a tornado is about to hit Meg's house, Meg is watching a Judy Garland movie on TV.

3. In the scene near the beginning of the movie where Bill and Melissa show up to greet the tornado chasers for the first time, Dusty is talking and acting silly with Bill and Melissa. At one point, Dusty says something silly and then does a little jig. That little jig is the same little two-step number that the scarecrow does in the Wizard of Oz.
