Dilbert - Millennium
After watching only a few shows of Dilbert, I've noticed that there is a big prominence of the numbers "2000" and "2001". One episode was completely dedicated to the Y2K bug, and in another episode, "Dilbert 2000" was on a computer screen, and a road sign said "Texas, 2001 miles", etc...

I don't think it's entirely a coincidence but I don't think it's an easter egg either. I have seen another one, in which Dilbert uses his voice activated shower and Dogbert tricks him to say 2001 (as in Space Odyssey), but the shower mistakes it for the temperature, and burns the hell out of him. I think this millennium thing is because Dilbert (the show) is so into science and technology, it can't just NOT have any references to the millennium (or the 20xx numbers).

Dilbert is mainly a satire on the modern office life and workers relationships, that's why they seem obsessed with those numbers, like most offices in past few years.

I agree it was just a coincidence and if it want (which i doubt) it wasn't really a good egg
