Matrix, The Easter Egg - Doubting Thomas
Here's another biblical reference for y'all. Neo's real name is Thomas and he initially refuses to believe what is happening to him. There is a man in the Bible named Thomas who is referred to as "Doubting Thomas" because he cannot believe what others around him do either. Just another Biblical parallel in the movie.
