In the scene where Basquiat and Warhol are walking down the New York City street discussing things look behind them. They eventually pass a car with its hood up blocking the view of a garage door. If you look on the door you can see part of a face in black and white. That is actually a work by the street artist WK Interact! Basquiat was started off as SAMO and influenced the high class artworld with his graffiti style. Obviously the WK Interact would corrupt the idea that you were in the 1980's since WK Interact came to New York in the late 90's
