Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy (the) Easter Egg - Mattel Electronic Football

In the opening of the episode “My Peeps”, Billy is playing a RPG console video game in his room. The sounds and noises made when he hits the controller buttons are the same sounds that the 1970’s Mattel Electronic hand held football games made. They are simple clicks and tones from the older hand held game that sound when you are moving the ‘runner’ around on the field screen.

The Mattel Football game sounds are also found in the Supertramp song “The Logical Song”. Towards the end when the lyric “Digital” is said, the sound indicating fourth down (two beeps) chimes.
