Fear Of Fours (Lamb) Easter Egg - Hidden Track

On Lamb's "Fear Of Fours" CD, there is a hidden track located BEFORE track 1 on the disc. To access it, you should start the disc on track 1, pause it, then rewind (NOT track back) approxmately 2 min 50 sec (if you can see the track time--some players will not display it) and then let it play! I don't know the name of the song, but it's a lovely string-driven ballad that is not found on any other Lamb disc.

This sounds like its the missing string section and vocals from the last track "Lullaby" if you have the software try mixing the two tracks down and see if it works!

Thanks, Frink. This is a great album and I wasn't aware of the hidden track. I suppose you are right in saying that it is not on any other Lamb disc (like most album tracks!) but Kiel is quite right in identifying it as 'Lullaby'. Mixing them would be pointless, however, as the string section and plucked bass are already on track 14 of the album. The hidden version is exactly the same except that most of the lead vocal has been removed so you can enjoy that stunning string arrangement on its own should you prefer to occasionally.

When a section of this track was hidden on the Lamb website, the file to download was called "bombaymix" so I've always thought of it as the Bombay Mix of Lullaby.
