When playing the downtown level (looks like a basketball court) look around near the top of the buildings.
You should see a banner for the X-Box Game 'Ninja Gaiden' also developed by Team Ninja (who also made DOA)
The game Ninja Gaiden stars Ryu Hayabusa who also wins the Second DOA Tournament.
