Half-Life 2 Easter Egg - Star Control 2 Reference

At the beginning of chapter 14, "Dark Energy", you are taken into Dr. Breen's office. On the way, you hear him talking to Dr. Vance and he says, "...stars with ancient satellites colonized by sentient fungi. Gas giants inhabited by vast meteorological intelligences. Worlds stretched thin across the membranes where dimensions intersect." The "sentient fungi" is a reference to the Star Control race called the Mycon and the "vast meteorological intelligences" refers to the Slylandro from Star Control 2.
