Half-Life 2 Easter Egg - The Terminal
This egg is found in the little house at the end of the "Road 17" chapter of the game - the house under the gigantic truss train bridge. (It may appear in other locations too, but this is where I noticed it.)
In the kitchen of this little house are a meat grinder, an industrial refrigerator, and some pots & pans. On the counter is a newspaper called "THE TERMINAL" with a portrait of Dr. Breen on it; the newspaper is unmistakably the Wall Street Journal, a famous daily newspaper published in New York. The font, styling, and paragraph format are all exact replicas. There is even a section of the newspaper, partially visible, that is titled "MONEY & INVESTING", which is a real section from the Journal.

wow, I really didnt notice that. i knew there was a newspaper prop they use in HL2, but I didn't know that they had Breen on it. so this means the paper was printed shortly after the 7 hour war.
