In Series 1, episode 14, George Takei (Sulu, from the original star trek series) Makes an appearance as "Hiro's" father.

At time line 39 minutes and 52 seconds, Hiro's father and sister get into a waiting limousine.

The registration/number plate for that limousine refers back to Star Trek, in fact the registration number of the ship.
