Alex Rider Easter Egg - Alex's School

In all of the Alex Rider books, "Stormbreaker" being the first, Alex attends the school Brooklands.

This is important because the author, Anthony Horowitz, used to visit a primary school called Brooklands in North London. He would talk to the children about his novels, as he knew one of the teachers very well.

I know this because this was the primary school I went to for some time, and my elder sister got to see him and talk to him when she was in her last year.

Therefore the school Alex goes to (although in the book it is a high school) is a tribute to a school the author was very fond of.
