Kingdom Come (Alex Ross) Easter Egg - Kingdom Come Artistic Eggs

Alex Ross often adds artistic easter eggs in his work and Kingdom Come has some great ones!

p. 17 - In the bottom panel, notice the copy of "Under the Mask" by Hollis Mason in the window of the store. That is the fictional book which sets the history of many of the characters in the groundbreaking graphic novel "The Watchmen."

pp. 45-48 - Notice the youths that Batman's robots have cornered in these pages. It's Fat Albert and his crew. The middle panel on p. 45 is a real giveaway because of "Dumb Donald" and his stocking cap. The top panel on p. 48 shows clearly Albert's trademark orange shirt.

p. 86 - At the top of the page, notice the "super-heroes" standing behind the drunk at the table: Biker (w/ handlebar mustache), Indian (albeit with wings), a hairy chested Cowboy, a modern Construction Worker and a Bike Cop. Sound familiar? yep, the Village People!!
