Cloverfield Easter Egg - The Symbol

A symbol has been appearing in all of the Cloverfield Marketing campaigns recently. Not the Dharma Initiative logo, but a Sword going through a swirl, looking a bit like a Trebel Clef. It is now in Slusho.jp, the website marketing the drink Rob is going to work for and widely considered to have something to do with the making of the monster. It is on the sticker of the DVD for Cloverfield stating "PROPERTY OF THE US GOVERNMENT, NEW SECRETS REVEALED."
It is on the back of the "MISSING TEDDY HANSSEN" photo on 1-18-08.com.
It is in the top right corner of JamieandTeddy.com, and "Teddy" is the same Teddy as stated in the above photo.
It is to the right of "TAGRUATO CORP." on Tagruato.com, the website of the company that owns Slusho.
It is in the top right corner of TidoWave.com, the website of the activist group against Tagruato.
What is this symbol? Nobody knows yet. But it has taken over all of the Cloverfield websites and merchandise except for, so far, cloverfieldmovie.com.
