Just before the missiles get launched in the third last level, a sniper team will emerge from the tree lines. One of these snipes is called Sgt Scully, a reference to X-Files

Gotta agree with Blake and Drifter on this one. Not an Easter Egg. Just a regular name that happens to appear in another TV show. Now if it was a sexy female character with red hair and came in wearing a black suit, then hell yes this would be an Easter Egg.
