Stargate SG-1 Easter Egg - O'neill Never Saw Alf

In the episode 'Sight Unseen' where a civilian sees an alien, O'Neill tells him the alien is from Melmac...

[Vernon] So what planet are they from, the aliens?
[O'Neill] A place called Melmac.
[Vernon] Isn’t that where ALF is from?
[O'Neill] Who?
[Vernon] ALF, you know, on TV, the puppet.
[O'Neill] Never saw it.
[Vernon] No kidding?

This is reference to Alf being in the same timeslot but opposite channel to MacGyver when originally screening. O'Neill never saw Alf because he was MacGyver on the other channel.
