Outsiders, The Easter Egg - Hey Mickey!

If you pay attention to Two-Bit, played by Emilio Estevez, you'll notice he wears T-shirts with Mickey Mouse on them through out the film. Also SodaPop, played by Rob Lowe, mentions to Two-Bit in one scene that "Mickey's on tv..." Two-Bit sits down to watch as the other characters leave. This is a direct reference to the novel the film is based on. In the novel, SodaPop has a horse named Mickey Mouse, though he was cut from the film.

This one is wrong cause in the book it is said that Two-Bit is crazy about Mickey Mouse and always watching Mickey Mouse on TV.

Actually, Mickey Mouse (the horse) is only mentioned in the book. I think Ponyboy says that Soda had him when he was a kid and they couldn't afford to keep him. That explains why he wasn't in the film, he wasn't really in the novel either...
