One Vision (Queen) Easter Egg - Strange Messages

At the beginning of this song there are strange noises.Well,if you dub it on a MC and you listen to it at double speed, you will hear this message:"God works in misterious ways, misterious ways".Instead,if you listen to it on the contrary (to do this you must cut the piece of tape, turn it,then upset it and change side of the tape)you will hear:"I've seen Satan,my sweet Sabbath"

Ok...even if you could listen the tape after all that I think you would listen to a strange noise and not that....Have you ever heard about hysteresis and how tapes work?....maybe you've just listened too much spooky story

On the "Jazz" album, the bicycle song has a line--"I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bicycle". Sounds like Freddy was singing "I like to be bi-sexual, I want to stay bi-sexual". Or something to that effect. It was a fairly spacey non-focussed album anyway.

I can hear the "God works in mysterious ways...mysterious ways..." allright, even on the Greatest Hits II as well, but as far as the other phrase, I'd say, you're listening a bit too much.

I know that this is probably old, but with "one vision", in the very last line, instead of saying "one vision", I reckon freddie and the boys say "fried chicken". anyone else noticed that?

It's not completly true. If you listen to it on the contrary (with a multy-tracking MC recorder it's possible and easy) you will hear (I did so) 'Come and dance the Sabbath with me'.

Queen has done a lot of Secret Backward Messages, like in the song "Another One Bites The Dust", which plays backward into "Start to smoke Marijuana". Also, listen to the strange sound near the end of the song, which actually is a piano recorded backwards...

I agree as I have heard it. At the start of the track on One Vision there is some weird noises that sounds like it needs speeding up. Even at the normal speed you can still hear "God works in misterious ways, misterious ways". I think that you have to know that it is there to hear it, but it is there. And I don't think that it's one of those things where if you seek you shall find, as I have been told that it is other things rather than "God works in mysterious ways, mysterious ways". Now for my final point, I have the Greatest Hits 2 Album and it is on there.

If you watch the video "Queen Magic Years" in which they film the recording process of One Vision you hear all the lyrics they didn't use such as "fried chicken" and "God works in Mysterious ways".

What the h*ck is "on the contrary"? Can it be simulated using cool edit or a similar audio package?

When he says 'on the contrary' he means reversed. I have listened to it reversed and if you TRY to hear 'I've seen Satan, my dear Sabbath' you can make out something that sounds a LITTLE like it. But I believe this is not real, just a coincidence.

It's "Fried Chicken!" Period! Roger, Brian and John all said it and that's the end of story!
