I have a HP Pavilion 6343. The stand that was referred to is the little gray piece on the bottom of the front of the mini-tower.

I have a HP Pavilion 6360. On this model, the names are printed on the under-side of the little grey stand. So either put your computer on its side, or just take the stand out and look at its under side. GREAT FIND!

He means any mini tower model has this egg, the names are under the small stand that is fixed to the bottom of the case. Lay the computer on it's side and the names are in between the plastic supports.

Who cares! It seems like a silly reason to be turning your PC upside down or sideways or any other which way!

I looked at that little stand piece and actually pushed the tab that releases it and took it off. I didn't see anything but the part number and the time stamp. There was this little smoothed area that looked like it was reserved for use but there was nothing written. (shrug) Mine is an old 4430 that I got in 1999.
