Star Trek: The Next Generation Easter Egg - The Director Sneaks In

Ok its the episode where Spock goes to Romulus. The second part of the 2 parter. Right after Data puts the Vulcan nerve pinch on Tasha Yar II, as Picard, Spock and Data are leaving. If you watch the crystal the directors reflection appears. He's wearing glasses I think and I thought it was cool. It might be a slip-up.

Dang! You beat me to the punch... I had noticed this in re-runs and was hunting around for a videotaped copy in order to research who's image it was. I had mentioned this to a couple of friends and no one else seemed to have caught this one. I personally think it was a slip-up. Well done!

This is highlighted in "The Nitpicker's Guide for Next Generation Trekkers" by Phil Farrand, as are most of the observations on this sight. It's a very good read and the director is Adam Nimoy, he didn't know he was in the shot and his dear old Dad (Mr Spock) apparently laughed at him for making the gaffe. This is not an Easter egg!!

As I know, Gene Roddemberry dead in the make of that episode. And the image in the crystal is a picture of him. A best homage imortalization to this great man. At the first time I saw the face in the crystal I think it's a prismatic reflection of the back of scenary. But isn't.
