Yeah. Even though I have to use Windows, I have a program that lets me run Mac software. You're right, you could never save files with the Mac Note Pad. Try SimpleText. He meant the Windows version.

It does work on the Mac! go to stickies, type in "hiho", go to export text under the file menu, save it as "whatever.mov", find and open "whatever.mov" and you get the QT pro movie. I did this with Quicktime 5 Beta 3.

In a Windows application, you can actually save your documents or files in another extension when you select file->save by just renaming the extension. It's like when you're downloading files from the net (i.e. mp3) when saved as another extension on the net. Upon saving just add in the file extension. So what he/she meant was that type hiho in notepad then save as a file name with the extension .mov Not that hard, right?

What do you mean with save? You can't save files with NotePad... You mean I highlight the text, then drag it to the finder and to rename the text clipping with .mov at the end? That doesn't work either. Please explain what to do after writing "hiho".
