Spaceballs Easter Egg - Ludicrouss Speed

In the "Mr. DVD" Menu wait till a cow flys by. when the cow is in the crosshairs press the play button.

I think it's supposed to show a short "Ludicrous Speed" video. I played it with the cow in sight and it showed a short clip. I played it without the cow in sight and it went straight to playing.

Mine plays the ludicrous speed footage either way. The ridiculous part is that there's a spelling mistake in it. It says "Prepare ship four ludicrous speed" 'Four' instead of 'for'

It didn't work for me on the wide screen side of the DVD only the standard side! But it did show a short ludicrous speed clip before going to the film.

On the wide-screen version on mine, I get the ludicrous speed clip whenever nothing is in the cross-hairs, and when the cow or astronaut are in the cross-hairs, it cuts directly to the movie.

1) This works on my player but when the cow appears, I have to press "ENTER", and not "PLAY". "PLAY" does nothing when the disc is already running. (I have a Pioneer DV-717 player). 2) It will not run twice unless the disc is ejected and replaced. 3) It works just as well when the astronaut appears too.

I got news for you. The Ludicrous Speed thing happens any time you start the movie. So this isn't an egg. Sorry to crush your hopes. But the guy who noticed "four" should have been "for was right. Still, nothing happens when the cow (or astronaut) get to the cross-hair & you hit play or enter.
